Hola Reader! It's been 2 months now that I've moved to Lisbon and I'm loving the life I'm creating for myself here. I'm taking time to do hobbies I've been wanting to do for a while (dance), regularly have social meet ups whether it's brunches, co-working sessions or just random meet ups to do things like go out to eat, bowling, etc. This doesn't just happen overnight, but it's nice it's happening. I shared some of my fave apps and websites to meet people/make friends when traveling or living...

Hola Reader! April 25th in Portugal is Freedom Day, the day the dictatorship ended 50 years ago. There were fireworks, parades, and people everywhere. Hola Reader! April Fool's! I don't see that happening anytime soon, because I love what I do so it's all good. 😌 Q1 of the year just came to an end yesterday and I shared some of my accomplishments these first 3 months of the year and the things I didn't get done. Hola Reader! This week I had an unexpected reality check hit me. I've now been in Lisbon for two weeks and the city is still really new to me. It hit me that the first time I ever visited was only a year and a half ago and it was because I knew I wanted to stay in Europe that I'd have to move here. So when I visited back in September of 2022, I visited knowing the purpose of my trip was unlike any other I had done before. With Barcelona I knew before going that eventually I wanted to live...

Hola Reader! Living by yourself is not so bad. Now that it's been a bit over a week, I'm not sure why I thought it would be a bigger shock. It is just quieter at times, but I fill the space with a show or music. Overall my adjustment has been much smoother than I originally thought it would be. Now that this will be my future home, I'll be exploring my new city and trying out coffee shops and other must dos for when you decide to visit! Stay tuned to the blog for more. ✈️ Let's ADVENTURE...
